Als einer der letzten Istari wurde Gandalf nach Mittelerde gesandt, um Saurons Ende ein für alle Mal sicherzustellen, auch wenn seine Aufgabe darin liegt, die Völker Mittelerdes anzuleiten, anstattt es selbst zustande zu bringen. Im Laufe der Jahre sind Gandalf das Auenland und die dort lebenden Hobbits sehr ans Herz gewachsen, denn er sieht in ihnen jene beachtlichen Wesen, die sie auch wahrlich sind. Nachdem er den Ring im Auenland entdeckt hat, macht sich Gandalf daran, einen Plan zu ersinnen, um ihn zu vernichten und das Böse Saurons ein für alle mal zu bezwingen.

Auf dem Schlachtfeld kann Gandalf der Graue eine Reihe nützliche magische Kräfte einsetzen. Er ist zudem ein unglaublich vielseitiger Held, der wahlweise auf einem Pferd reiten und auf einem einzigartigen Reittier in Gestalt seines Karrens fahren kann.

Enthält drei Miniaturen:

- Gandalf der Graue zu Fuß (eine Metallminiatur mit einem Citadel-Rundbase (25 mm))

- Gandalf der Graue auf Pferd (eine Metallminiatur mit einem Citadel-Rundbase (40 mm))

- Gandalf der Graue auf Karren (eine Resinminiatur mit einem Citadel-Rundbase (60 mm))

Die Regeln für alle drei Miniaturen von Gandalf dem Grauen sind in Armeen aus Der Herr der Ringe™ und Scouring of the Shire enthalten.
